French Drain Installation
As mentioned, French drainage are used in various outdoor areas to address pooling water issues or soggy lawn problems. Water always travels downhill in sloping areas using the quickest route. Without the right kind of drainage, it will end up flooding the low-lying areas in your landscape.
We recommend the use of French drains because they are an excellent solution for collecting the water and redirecting it to suitable locations such as street outlets, larger drains etc.
French drains are perforated pipes that are installed underground. These pipes are enclosed in tube socks, which help to filter debris that it flows along with the water. About eight inches of drainage gravel is installed above this pipe . Landscape fabric is used to cover the drains which helps to prevent root intrusion.
